NNU faculty members are experienced in business, and that makes a difference in your education at NNU. 

Professor Dick Van Schyndel came to NNU nine years ago after 14 years with the IRS and 20 years of executive positions in aerospace production.  He teaches Entrepreneurship and Global Operations, and also oversees the operations activities of the NNU campus.  Outside the classroom he leads the EXCELL C.I. (Continuous Improvement) group for the Treasure Valley. 

EXCELL (excellceo.com) provides a venue for exchange of information between executives of mostly private companies.  Professor Van Schyndel leads monthly meetings with these business leaders, focusing on topics to benefit their enterprises.  He also conducts field visits to various members’ businesses, and provides business consulting based upon his experience and expertise.  The membership of the Treasure Valley EXCELL is comprised of executives from:
