Sarah Troescher

Assistant Coach - Sprints

Biography: Sarah Troescher was added to the NNU Track & Field coaching staff prior to the 2024-25 year. She will primarily work with the sprints squad.

“I am so excited to work with these athletes in improving not only their physical performance, but their mental performance and spiritual well-being,” said Troescher. “God led them and myself to NNU for a reason, and my hope is to help them make the most of this wonderful season of life that is college.”

Troescher comes to NNU after a pair of one-year coaching stints at Boise State and College of Idaho, as well as multiple years at the AAU/Junior USATF Club level. While at BSU, she coached Mountain West Champions in the women’s indoor 60m, women’s indoor 800m, and women’s outdoor 800m, and the National Champion in the women’s outdoor 800m. There were also over 15 PRs within the sprints/hurdles group. At College of Idaho, she coached national finalists in both the women’s indoor DMR and men’s 400m hurdles, while also helping Yotes to over 20 PRs and a few school records among the sprints squad.

Troescher competed for four years at the University of Sioux Falls, an NCAA DII school in South Dakota. She graduated with her Bachelors Degree from Sioux Falls and is now continuing education towards a Masters in Sport & Performance Psychology.

Sarah now lives in Eagle, Idaho, and loves singing, musical theater, listening to new music, and going for bike rides. She is also a devoted cat mother, and is passionate about faith and mental health in sport.
