Biography: Eric Zwiefelhofer joined the NNU track & field coaching staff prior to the 2023-24 season. He primarily works with the Nighthawks’ javelin throwers.

“I love being a part of the coaching staff and Track & Field team at NNU,” said Zwiefelhofer. “The athletes are great and I’m honored that I can help their journey towards success.”

In his first year in 23-24, he coached a pair of NNU javelin throwers to Outdoor Nationals qualification in Laurenz Waldbauer and Madeline Gebers. Both also finished as runner-up at the GNAC Championships.

Zwiefelhofer attend NNU from 2007-11 and was a part of the track & field team, competing in the javelin, pole vault, and decathlon. He earned Bachelors Degrees in Business Administration and Business Management.

Outside of coaching, he loves to spend time with his wife and three kids (ages 9, 6, and 3), especially as the kids are starting to be more involved in sports. He also enjoys archery and archery hunting.
