Northwest Nazarene University is honored to announce the election of Dr. Mark J. DeMichael as its 14th President. Dr. Mark J. DeMichael brings a distinguished record of scholarship, leadership and service in higher education. We invite you to join us in recognizing this important chapter in the University’s history as we formally install Dr. Mark J. DeMichael as President.

The Board of Trustees invites you to join us in celebrating the inauguration of Dr. Mark J. DeMichael as the fourteenth president of Northwest Nazarene University.
Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. (Doors to open at 6:00 p.m.)
John and Orah Brandt Fine Arts and Convocation Center, Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa, ID
Immediately following the ceremony, a celebration reception will take place in the lobby and outside patio.
