Biography: Andrea (Larson) Friesen hails from Nampa, ID, daughter of Don and Darla Larson, granddaughter of Wayne and Joann Larson who were missionaries with the Nazarene church serving in both Papua New Guinea and Africa.

Andrea graduated from NNU in 2005 with a degree in Fine Arts and Christian Education. She married Dan Friesen, son of Denny and Loris Friesen, in 2008. Dan works locally for DC Engineering in Meridian, ID as a structural engineer.

Together they have three sons, Nolan, Graham and Grady. The Frisen’s attend Nampa First Church of the Nazarene and are actively involved in their Boy Scouts program.

I’m so grateful to be back at NNU, surrounded by a community that values personal growth and faith. I look forward to pouring into students just as I was once supported and inspired here, guiding them to thrive both academically and spiritually.
