Biography: Traci Alonzo joined the Northwest Nazarene athletic department as the Athletics Office Manager in the summer of 2023.

No stranger to NNU, Alonzo is an alum and has held various positions across campus, including spending the last three years working in Student Life.

After graduating in 1993, she came back to campus for her first stint to work in the Registrar’s office from 1998-2001. She then spent 11 years off campus as bookkeeper for First United Methodist Church before returning again to NNU in 2013. Prior to the most recent position in Student Life, she spent two years in the Chaplain’s Office and four years in Human Resources.

Alonzo also currently serves on SRC and the Diversity Commission on campus.

In addition, she has ties to a legend of NNU Athletics in Hall of Fame coach and athletic director Elmore Vail – the namesake of the Nighthawks’ baseball field and Alonzo’s great-uncle.

Alonzo lives in Nampa with her husband LeRoy and they have two sons, Ethan and Alex.
