Wiley Alumni House

The Wiley Alumni House was built in 1922 for NNU's first president, H. Orton Wiley. Funds were provided by Dean Olive Winchester when the house was deeded to NNC. Since that time, the house has seen many occupants, including students in the Home Economics Department, Nursing students and cadets. The Alumni House is the oldest building in its original form left on campus and sits at the corner of Dewey and Ivy streets. The Alumni House underwent extensive restoration in 1983 and is now listed on the National Historic Registry. On the main floor, the Office of Alumni Relations welcomes students to stop by the house kitchen for cookies and soda or stay and study at the dining table or in front of the fireplace. If parents are coming into town, there are also four guest bedrooms available upstairs for reservation.
