Biology, Pre-Physical Therapy

The Bachelor of Science Pre-Physical Therapy degree prepares students for entry to a graduate program in physical therapy (PT) or athletic training (AT) by obtaining a baccalaureate degree, completing the prerequisite course work for entry into specific programs, and by obtaining a broad variety of volunteer clinical experience under the direction of a physical therapist or athletic trainer (120-150 hours).

Both majors contain a common core of courses that expose students to courses in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and psychology.  Based on a pre-physical therapy or athletic training concentration, students can choose elective courses from a specified list of biology, chemistry, and kinesiology courses based on personal interest.

See the Kinesiology Athletic Training page for that concentration's requirements.

The NNU community of students is one of the largest draws for any applying student. You will not find yourself without a friend or resource you can depend on during your study at NNU. In the Biology department specifically, I have noticed that the lecturers are friendly and want to help you succeed in your academic journey.
