Kinesiology

 

Northwest Nazarene University offers a challenging curriculum through the kinesiology degree program that successfully prepares students for careers in the health and wellness fields. The foundation provided by NNU and the Kinesiology Department will create opportunities for students to enter the fields of physical education, coaching, corporate fitness, personal training, health and recreation, as well as preparing them for post-graduate work upon receiving their kinesiology degree.

Kinesiology

The Kinesiology Department offers:
  • emphases in kinesiology education, athletic training, kinesiology/coaching, sports management, and outdoor recreation ;
  • highly qualified, caring professors with educational expertise and career experience;
  • small class sizes that allow for collaboration and interaction; and
  • opportunities for hands-on experience through field and laboratory experiences, internships, and student teaching.
