CPD K-12 Educational Liaison


Description of Position
Working within the NNU Center for Professional Development (CPD), the K-12 Educational
Liaison has primary responsibility to develop relationships with stakeholders to create new CPD
course and program offerings and promote CPD K-12 market reach. The K-12 Educational
Liaison is under the direct supervision of the Director of CPD. This position is an Exempt, 12 month position. 


Essential Functions

  • Develops and implements a strategy to grow our out-of-state K-12 market and third-party partnerships.
  • Builds relationships with K-12 instructors, education partners, and third-party external agencies.
  • Researches and evaluates new programming opportunities for the K-12 market.
  • Attends K-12 conferences (in-state and out-of-state) to network with potential partners.
  • Connects with K-12 stakeholders (internal and external) to build strong relationships and identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Processes submitted courses and ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Advocates for CPD students regarding concerns and technical system issues.
  • Monitors and analyzes program performance metrics and adjusts strategies as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a related field (education, business, etc.)
  • One to three years experience working in a K-12 or educational environment
  • Ability to travel (in-state and out-of-state)
  • The University requires that all candidates be Christians (preferably in the Wesleyan
  • tradition), and must be comfortable with, in agreement with the mission and lifestyle
  • values of NNU


Preferred Qualifications

  • Current K-12 teaching certificate
  • Four years experience working in a K-12 or educational environment

 

Compensation
Salary determined by the educational background and experience of each applicant. Full-time
personnel offered access to a benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance
