Students learn about semiconductor engineering

NIGHTHAWKS W.I.N.G.S. SEMICONDUCTOR CAMP

Workforce Innovation for the Next Generation in Semiconductors (W.I.N.G.S.)

Nighthawks W.I.N.G.S. is a one-day camp dedicated to teaching high-school students about semiconductors, the building blocks of the technology that shapes our lives.

What You Will Explore

  • How technology (e.g., laptops/smartphones) is made using tiny switches called transistors
  • How transistors are made from semiconductors
  • Hands-on practice building your own digital circuit
  • Why a semiconductor career might be for you

Why Semiconductors

Semiconductors are the foundation of modern technology and a fast-growing industry in the Boise Valley and the world!

Who Should Attend
