Diana Cayler is a locally raised mezzo-soprano. She completed her BA in music ministry at NNU and is now working on her MA in pastoral ministry. Since completing her bachelor's degree, she's been teaching voice at NNU, leading worship with churches in the Church of the Nazarene and performing with the Opera Idaho resident company. In her choral singing days, she worked with renowned conductors like Edith Copley, Vijay Singh, Maurice Skones, Eph Ely, and Anton Armstrong. In 2019, she had the pleasure of conducting the choir and orchestra during a special performance with Mandisa.
In addition to singing, she loves acting and performs onstage as often as family life will allow. Highlights of her acting experience include Lucy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Ms. Hannigan in Annie, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, and (her most exciting role) Brutus in Julius Caesar. In 2015, she directed Seymour Barab's one-act opera Little Red Riding Hood.
