Graduate of NNU class of ’80 (Christian Education & Vocal Music), Ordained Minister, Mother and Grandma.
I am the mother of 2 adult daughters who both married men who are the sons of my heart (absolute KEEPERS) and “Grams” to one energetic, brilliant, toddler GRANDSON! Truly Blessed!
I returned to work at NNU in 2016 after a long and rewarding career as a Children’s and Families Pastor.
As I entered NNC as a student, there was no major for those called as Children’s and Families Pastors, in fact, in the mid- to late-70s who even knew it was a “thing”? Professors across campus in cooperation with the registrar’s office worked with me to create a course of study to propel me toward realizing God’s call in my life. I am forever grateful for the dedication of these men and women across disciplines who invested in my life and ministry. God blessed that ministry in churches, camping programs, camp meeting programs, Christian Education conferences and seminars, rallies, Family & Parenting Seminars and women’s ministry events for over 4 decades and still counting.
Since the summer of 2016, it has been my absolute joy and privilege to represent NNU in the work of furthering the mission and ministry of NNU and to continue the legacy of faithfulness that I have been blessed to be a recipient of. I continue to be involved in kids ministry and music and drama in the local church while enjoying the beautiful Northwest and, in particular, my Idaho and NNU family and extended community.
