Biography: No stranger to NNU men’s basketball, Kobe Terashima returned to his alma mater as an assistant men’s basketball coach in the summer of 2023.
Terashima recently concluded his Nighthawks’ career on the hardwood, starting 67 games over three years. He was the starting point guard for the majority of his time at NNU, leading the Nighthawks to the first two NCAA Tournament appearances in program history as well as NNU men’s basketball’s first GNAC Championship during his senior year in 2022-23.
The Meridian, Idaho native finished his career second in NNU’s NCAA history in assists per game at 4.3 and total assists at 290. He also played two seasons at Montana State Billings prior to transferring to NNU, where he led the GNAC in assists as a freshman. During his five-year college career, he compiled 810 points, 503 assists, and 458 rebounds.
Prior to joining the NNU staff, Terashima earned some experience coaching Select Basketball this summer.
Terashima graduated from NNU with a Business Management degree in 2021 and added a masters in Business Administration in 2023.
