Biography: Michael Hall has been performing professionally for over 27 years and teaching instrumental music for the past 24. He holds a BM in Music Education from the University of Idaho and a MA in Percussion Performance from Washington State University.

As a versatile percussionist, Michael has performed in a wide range of musical settings, from classical orchestras to jazz ensembles and rock bands. His performance credits include appearances with the Boise Philharmonic, Idaho-Washington Symphony, Verde Percussion Group, Treasure Valley Concert Band, Southern Idaho Jazz Club, Quality Time, and the cover band 60 Cycle Hum.

Michael has dedicated his teaching career to the state of Idaho, serving as a band director for over two decades. He is currently in his 13th year at Sage Valley Middle School, where he leads three concert bands and a jazz band, inspiring young musicians through a commitment to excellence and a passion for music education.
