Robin Gilbert

Associate Professor of Education; Educational Leadership Program Director

Biography: Robin R. Gilbert is the Director and Associate Professor for the NNU Graduate Educational Leadership Program. Gilbert earned her Ed.S. in Educational Leadership, Superintendent as well as a M.Ed in Educational Leadership/Administration from Northwest Nazarene University. Her BS in Elementary Education with an emphasis of Early Childhood is from Northwest Nazarene College. Robin is the 2021 recipient of the L. E. Wesche Outstanding Educator of the Year.

Gilbert is an experienced educational leader and instructor, who takes pride in providing first class learning environments for students, pre-K through graduate level. She has a background in public elementary education and district level leadership, as well as a decade of service as adjunct faculty in three of the local colleges and universities before joining the faculty at NNU.

Robin believes people, not programs, make the difference in the lives of others and therefore, as the Director of Graduate Educational Leadership Program she is determined to invest in personal relationships that inspire individual growth of every student and instructor.
