What is your favorite thing about working at NNU? Being surrounded by supportive, encouraging, and Jesus-loving individuals whose passions align with mine, and also being able to serve the students of NNU in such a special time in their lives.

Share a few facts about your specific area(s) of expertise that you bring to your work: I have years of training and experience in the field of office administration, as well as the knowledge, sweat, and tears it requires to build a business. My current position is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional customer service, which is exactly what my combined past experiences have prepared me for.

Share a few pieces of information about why you love working with students: In my experience as a business owner, I was able to hire high school and college-age individuals, teaching them about my role as an entrepreneur and the ins and outs of business. It created a spark that led me to mentor and coach a few of the individuals who worked for me to build small businesses of their own. I loved seeing the drive they had to pursue something that takes time to build, and the patience they had to see it become successful. Now that I am in the position of receptionist in the Office of the Registrar, I get to be a small part of the success of the students who graduate from NNU, see the struggles they overcome, and celebrate their accomplishments.
