NNU’s Department of Art & Design is proud to present the senior art and design shows this April. Having spent the last four years preparing, 21 students will showcase the culmination of their undergraduate careers through these exhibits.
Aesthetics, the first show, will be on display in the Friesen Galleries of NNU’s Brandt Center April 3–14, with a reception on Tuesday, April 3, 4–6 p.m. Nine graphic design students will be featured in this exhibition: Dani Aaron, Annie Gorman, Kersey Hames, Courtney Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Garrett McFarland, Heather Nichols, Jordan Watkins and Andi Zhang.
The Senior Fine Art Show, featuring studio art students, and Zeitgeist, the second graphic design show, will be displayed in the Friesen Galleries April 17–May 6 with a reception on Tuesday, April 17, 4–6 p.m. Fine art students Nicole Bach, Izaak Lenn and Noreen Nelson have prepared a series of work based upon personal experiences and conceptual skills they have acquired at NNU. Zeitgeist will display the work of Rachel Bauman, Malea Doerfler, Emma Gascho, Etta Huwe, Serena Phillips, Virginia Tambe, David Vincent, Jacob Wombacher and Korte Zickefoose.
Join us in celebrating these students’ work and their contribution to the spirit of this age.
All Friesen Galleries events are free and open to the public—Monday–Friday, 9–5, or by appointment.
