Cynthia Tobias Seminar: Bringing out the Best in your Strong-Willed Child

On October 11, Cynthia Ulrich Tobias will be leading a seminar based on her best-selling book, You Can’t Make Me (But I Can Be Persuaded). She will be sharing her own strategies for bringing out the best in strong-willed children, and give parents, grandparents and teachers clear insight on how to handle these situations. Seminar attendees will gain tips on how to turn conflict into cooperation and will leave with practical, proven to work techniques.

Tobias specializes in speaking to parents, educators, law enforcement agencies, and leaders in our communities who deal with diverse and challenging individuals. She helps them learn the wisdom, power and life-changing benefits of positive conflict management.

She has a successful background that includes over 30 years as a best-selling author and speaker, eight years of teaching at a public high school and six years in law enforcement. Her education includes a B.A. from Northwest Nazarene University (NNU), an M.Ed. from Seattle Pacific University and an honorary doctorate from NNU.

Tobias has written 14 books and is a regular featured guest on radio and television shows and a popular presenter for businesses, government agencies, churches and schools around the world. She is the mother of twin sons, now young adults, and she and her husband Jack live in the Seattle area.

This event will take place at the NNU Brandt Center, 707 Fern Street, Nampa, ID 83686.

Dinner will be served from 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. The seminar starts immediately after and will end at 8:30 p.m. Children will be served pizza dinner from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Johnson Sports Center childcare area. If your child has dietary restrictions, please provide a meal. Limited space available for childcare.
