Northwest Nazarene University's Department of Music will usher in the Christmas season with their annual music production of NOEL, available to the general public beginning December 13. In order to comply with COVID restrictions, the concert will be delivered virtually this year through the streaming service VIMEO.

“For many in the community, NNU’s annual NOEL concert is the official start of the Christmas season,” Philip Miller, chair of NNU’s music department and director of NOEL said. “Although COVID has stolen so many things from us throughout 2020, it cannot take away our celebration of the birth of our Savior.“

NOEL will feature performances from NNU’s top ensembles including the Northwesterners, Jazz Revival, Jazz Renaissance, Bella Voce, Concert Band and the University Choir & Orchestra. This year’s concert will include some popular traditional Christmas numbers from past NOEL concerts along with some inspirational new material.

Tickets are available for $10 per household. Once tickets are purchased, a code will be provided to allow for the concert to be streamed via VIMEO anytime between December 13 and January 13. A 60-minute cut of the concert will also be available on KTVB-7 on Christmas morning. For more information about NOEL or to purchase tickets, go to https://www.nnu.edu/noel.
