Last month, students from NNU’s American Marketing Association (AMA) attended its national collegiate conference in Chicago. Among their many accomplishments, the chapter took home three “Outstanding Achievement” Awards in Social/Community Impact, Professional Development and Chapter Plan. Additionally, the team participated in several professional development and training sessions offered at the conference.
NNU’s AMA co-president Daphne Dryden, a senior marketing student, said, “I am so proud of [the chapter] and the hard work they have put in this year. I hope they continue to leave a legacy on NNU's campus for years to come.”
NNU’s chapter of the American Marketing Association was established in 2006 and has won over two dozen awards in a variety of categories. Dr. Konya Weber, Associate Dean of the College of Business, is the faculty advisor. To find out more about NNU’s College of Business, visit nnu.edu/business.
