Instructional Design & Technology

The mission of the Center for Instructional Design & Technology (IDT) is to empower instructors to prepare students to compete in the world as 21st-century learners. IDT does this by leveraging relevant technology, facilitating collaboration, customizing classroom environments, and using pedagogically sound practices that promote deeper levels of student learning and engagement in all modalities.

We do this by providing the following services:

- Consulting with instructors on teaching and learning practices

- Collaborating with programs on curriculum planning or new program development

- Supporting instructors in their use of technology in instruction

- Resourcing the campus with tools that support faculty and employee development
