What is the Yellow Ribbon Program?

The Yellow Ribbon Program makes additional funds available if your tuition and fees exceed the maximum available from the Post 9/11 GI Bill®. GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill. The Yellow Ribbon Program is available to Veterans qualified for the Post 9/11 GI Bill® at the 100 percent rate. Learn more.

I am a National Guard member, what happens if I am called up to active duty?

You must bring a copy of your orders to the Registrar’s Office as soon as you are notified.

What should I do if my school bill does not look accurate?

Contact the Business Office with questions about your school bill at businessoffice@nnu.edu.

What should I do if I don’t want to use my benefits for a semester?

Contact the School Certifying Official at veteranservices@nnu.edu and let them know you do not want to use your benefits before the semester begins.
