Biography:
I’m a former Coast Guard Corpsman, I have worked in the acute care hospital setting for the last 28 years, I have been a RN for the last 20.

Sharing the love of Jesus through knowledge and engagement with students.

A few facts about the expertise that you bring to the classroom:
As a former hospital administrator and manager for a very active hospital I had the privilege of working with many nursing students and hiring many nursing students. My goal is summed up in a little saying that says so much – No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care. We are in the caring business and it’s important we care even when we don’t want to.

A few pieces of information that represent your teaching experience and why you love working with students:
Working in an acute care hospital, I had the privilege of being a Nursing educator and working with many new grad nurses and students. I found them wanting to be educated and learning to listen, to find their why and explain the reason why they wanted to learn what I taught them was a key concept.
