Nampa, Idaho – Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) earned the Great Northwest Athletic
Conference (GNAC) Academic All-Sports Trophy for the second consecutive year,
recognizing the academic success of its varsity student-athletes throughout the 2025–26
academic year.
The award is given based on the cumulative grade point averages (GPAs) of each varsity
athletic team. The men’s and women’s track and field teams won their groups—with GPAs
of 3.35 and 3.64 respectively—in addition to contributing to the University’s overall victory.
The honor marks the ninth time NNU has claimed the Academic All-Sports Trophy since
the GNAC was established in 2001, the most of any conference member.
