Mark DeMichael
Dr. Mark DeMichael stepped into office as the 14th president of Northwest Nazarene University in the Summer of 2025. A seasoned leader in Christian higher education, he brings a deep commitment to NNU’s mission and a passion for holistic student development, shaped by decades of experience in academics, student life, athletics and spiritual formation.

As the senior leadership team, we are committed to encouraging our students to discover the gifts inside of them that the world is waiting to receive. We strive to help them overcome whatever personal or academic challenges they may face as they explore who they are in Christ and what He has called them to do. We are grateful to God and our students for giving us all the opportunity to serve.
