Bryana Smith
Assistant Professor of Nursing
Biography: As a native of Montana, Idaho was a perfect choice to move to when I was looking for a job after completing my first year as a nurse. I have been in Idaho since 2012 and absolutely love the outdoors. I grew up in a military family and was homeschooled my entire childhood. In 2011, I graduated from Pensacola Christian College with my BSN. I knew the Lord wanted more from me so I started graduate school in 2017 and graduated from Purdue University in 2019. In 2020, I started my Doctorate journey and in 2021, with a brand new baby, I completed my DNP. I have worked in many ares of nursing—each aspect has such unique perspective on the human body. I decided in 2025 to take another pathway which led me to NNU to hopefully positively impact students in both their faith as well as their journey to becoming nurses.
What is your favorite thing about working at NNU? I am excited to be around like-minded individuals who have the focus of Christ as our center.
