Gregor Slonaker
Associate Director, Scholarships & Legacy Gifts; Foundation Board Liaison
Biography: Gregor Slonaker joined NNU in 2022. He was raised on his family’s farm near Pullman, Washington, and attended the Moscow Church of the Nazarene. NNU has a strong place in his family’s history, with his siblings, parents, grandparents, and many cousins all having attended the university. After graduating from NNU in 2009, Gregor pursued a career in retail management. However, he eventually felt God calling him back to NNU. Looking back, he sees how every role he held since graduation prepared him for his current role. While it’s hard for him to put into words the sense of purpose he feels, he is profoundly grateful to be part of God’s plan—not only for himself but also for every student. Being able to contribute, even in a small way, to their transformation is an incomparable blessing. Now, Gregor serves faithfully as the Foundation Board Liaison and the Associate Director of Scholarship and Legacy Gifts. In these roles, he connects with scholarship representatives and the Foundation Board, and partners with those who have been transformed by God through NNU. Though it’s difficult for him to fully express the profound sense of purpose he feels, Gregor is deeply grateful to play even a small part in God’s plan—not only for his own life but also for the lives of every student. Being able to witness and contribute to their transformation is a blessing beyond compare
