What is your favorite thing about working at NNU?: I love working at Northwest Nazarene University because it brings together my passions for leadership, education, faith, and student development. Throughout my career, whether in mathematics education or athletics, I have been committed to helping others discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential. NNU provides an environment where those values are not only encouraged but deeply embedded in the university’s mission.

I also appreciate the strong sense of community at NNU. I am grateful to work alongside colleagues who share a commitment to excellence, service, and student success. Together, we are developing future leaders who are prepared to make a positive impact in their professions, communities, and families.

Most importantly, NNU provides an opportunity to live out my calling—to educate, mentor, coach, and serve others in a Christ-centered environment. Seeing students grow in confidence, leadership, and purpose is incredibly rewarding, and it is the reason I am proud to be part of the NNU community.
