Accounting: Description of Position

Northwest Nazarene University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in all areas of Accounting. Undergraduate courses include Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I/II, Cost Accounting, Audit, Advanced Financial Accounting and Income Tax. Graduate courses include Managerial/Cost Accounting, Business Valuation & Analysis, Advanced Accounting Information Systems, Forensic Accounting & Fraud Examination, Accounting Theory/Research.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Business
  • CPA or CMA designation
  • Current practitioner or recent experience in accounting in corporate or non-profit environments
  • All candidates must have a Christian perspective (preferably in the Wesleyan tradition), be in agreement with the doctrine of the Nazarene church, agree to live within the mission and lifestyle values of NNU, and be willing to help advance the spiritual goals of the University

Northwest Nazarene University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach graduate courses in Business Analytics.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business
  • Current practitioner or recent experience in business analytics in corporate or non-profit environments

Nursing

Department Statement

The College of Nursing at NNU offers the following degree programs: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing • Master of Science in Nursing Leadership/Education (online) • Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner (online) Both the BSN programs and the MSN programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The College of Nursing is located in the Thomas Family Health and Science Center.

Description of Position

The College of Nursing seeks to fill adjunct nursing faculty positions throughout the academic year.

Minimum Qualifications

BSN faculty: Master’s level preferred. Candidates need to be proficient in the clinical skills required for practice in this area.

MSN Leadership/Education: Doctoral degree, preferably in nursing. Experience in online educational delivery preferred.

MSN Family Nursing Practitioner: Master’s degree in Nursing. Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Current practice as a nurse practitioner.

Candidates must demonstrate both written and verbal skills and effective interpersonal relationship skills.
