Alison Graham Larson
Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Services
Favorite Thing About Working at NNU: Larson, a 2002 graduate of NNU, begins her 10th year as the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Services in the 2024-25 academic year. She also oversees the Department’s Sports Medicine component and serves as the Senior Woman Administrator.
Alison is responsible for all aspects of NCAA, conference, government regulation, and institutional compliance for the Department. In addition, she oversees student-athlete support services at NNU, including those related to academics, physical and mental wellness, and coach relations, and spearheads the Department’s collaboration with various on and off campus constituencies. She also assists the Director of Athletics with overall management and leadership of the Department, including hiring and personnel issues, strategic planning, and culture implementation and is involved in various conference and campus committees, including as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
A 2006 graduate of the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, Alison spent nine years working as an attorney for Judge Sergio A. Gutierrez of the Idaho Court of Appeals before returning to NNU. During that time, she served on the Governing Council of the Appellate Practice Section of the Idaho State Bar and worked as a volunteer lawyer for the Idaho Volunteer Lawyers program.
At NNU, she was a member of the Women’s Basketball team from the 1998-99 season through the 2001-02 campaign, playing for both former coaches Kelli Lindley and Roger Schmidt, while earning her degree in Political Science. She is a Treasure Valley-native, graduating from Eagle High School.
Alison is an active member of the Idaho State Bar and volunteers for the CASA program as an attorney for Guardians ad Litems who advocate for children in foster care.
Alison and her husband Mike, also an NNU graduate, live in Meridian. They enjoy skiing, spending time in the mountains with their dogs, Lucy and Zoey, and being aunt and uncle to three nephews and two nieces.
