Dan Lawrence

Professor of Physics

Biography: Prof. Dan Lawrence received a BS in Physics at NNU in 1992, MS from VCU in 1994 in General Relativity, and a Ph.D. from Purdue in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics. He then worked at Raytheon Missile Systems on the Sidewinder Missile program. Returning in 2001, his research interests include the physics of musical instruments and NASA projects ranging from high altitude balloon projects, sub-orbital research flying on sounding rockets, microgravity flights, to CubeSat projects now in orbit.
