Heather Tustison

Adjunct Professor

Biography:  Heather Tustison is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She has been a professional counselor since graduating from NNU in 2006, in Private Practice since 2009. Her degree is a Masters of Marriage and Family Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University. She is the Clinical Director at Treasure Wellness Counseling and Training Center supervising graduate student interns from area universities as well as professionals seeking clinical licensure. Heather specializes in marriage and family counseling. Her passion is to improve satisfaction in all relationships – with self, with another, and socially. She has further honed proficiency in communication skills, conflict management, and identification of primary needs. She has experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups.

What is your favorite thing about working at NNU?: My colleagues and friends that collaborate to make the learning experience full and rich for NNU students, as well as a lot of fun!
