Biography: JoLyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her MSW and BA from Northwest Nazarene University and has been a licensed social worker since 1999, with extensive experience in working with children and families in public health and community mental health settings. JoLyn joined the NNU Counseling Services team in 2023. She provides individual counseling for students and recognizes all individuals are unique in their experiences and interpretations of the world. Her desire is to provide a safe and healing space, meeting students where they are at in life, with a supportive person-centered approach while also addressing the individual needs of clients. JoLyn’s hope is for students to feel heard, understood and experience connection as they work toward emotional and mental wellness.
