Kyle Blaser

Resident Director

Biography: Kyle Blaser is a dedicated Resident Director in the Student Life Department at Northwest Nazarene University. In this role, he is responsible for fostering an inclusive residential environment, supervising student staff and managing the day-to-day operations of the dormitories. Kyle lives on campus with his wife Stephanie and their two children, Ellis and Nova, actively supporting the everyday needs of students and creating a warm, family-oriented atmosphere in the residence halls.

Currently pursuing a master’s degree to become a licensed counselor, Kyle brings a diverse background to his position. His professional experience spans healthcare, education and ministry, providing him with a unique perspective in supporting and guiding students through their college journey. Kyle’s commitment to student development and his ongoing education demonstrate his dedication to personal growth and enhancing his ability to serve the University community.
Outside of his professional life, Kyle is an avid outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys skiing, hiking, camping and summiting mountains whenever possible. This passion for outdoor activities not only reflects his personal interests but also allows him to connect with students on a more personal level. Kyle and his family prioritize building close relationships with students, often inviting them to participate in their daily lives and outdoor adventures, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the residence halls.
