Rebekah Ponsford-Hall

Adjunct Professor of Psychology

Biography: Dr. Rebekah Ponsford-Hall graduated from NNU in 2001 and went on to earn her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Ponsford-Hall and her husband helped establish Northwest Neurobehavioral Health in 2010. Since then, her professional focus has been primarily on the assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental differences in children. Dr. Ponsford-Hall is also an experienced psychotherapist, focusing primarily on psychodynamic and relational approaches. Her other experiences include teaching, supervision, and program evaluation.

Dr. Ponsford-Hall has 3 children. Her youngest was born with congenital CMV, which caused severe and lifelong disabilities. Rebekah continues to work part time as a psychologist, and part time as an advocate for congenital CMV prevention. Her experience as a mother has widened her interest in child development to include postpartum adjustment and grief and adjustment of families with children with special needs.

Dr. Ponsford-Hall loves the creative arts including dance, writing and painting
