NNU Emeritus Professor of New Testament Dr. Richard Thompson was recently featured on the Holiness Today podcast. Thompson spoke with HT podcast host Nate Gilmore about the Wesley Center Online, NNU’s digital repository that has been offering theological resources in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition for pastors and scholars for more than a quarter century.
Originally created through the vision of another NNU New Testament scholar, Emeritus Professor Dr. George Lyons, the Wesley Center Online forged new ground in Wesleyan theological and biblical circles and continues to receive more than a million hits annually. In the years prior to Thompson’s retirement in 2024, he has been been leading in the redevelopment of the site for what he’s calling “Wesley Center 2.0,” which will update the site and its resources for better engagement and style, as well as improved accessibility with partner sites like the Wesleyan Holiness Digital Library. Thompson hopes these online updates will take final shape by the summer of 2025.
