Building A

Legacy of Care

The Future of Nighthawks Nursing Depends on You

Christ-like compassion sets NNU nursing graduates apart. Not only are they equipped to give world-class care, they are empowered to bring Christ’s healing to the hurting. And with your help, our nurses can continue to make a difference in Nampa and beyond.

Our Goal: Raise $15 Million to Expand Our Nursing Program

Your donation will allow us to renovate our current facilities and build a brand-new space
with all the latest medical training equipment.

From Our President

Currently, our nation is facing a healthcare crisis due to the lack of qualified nursing professionals. Fortunately, there is a wave of highly motivated, capable students looking to enter the nursing profession. But without the capacity to admit and educate them, NNU will have to turn many of them away.

By contributing to the We CARE capital campaign, you can help secure the future of Nighthawks Nursing by expanding NNU’s capacity to educate more clinically skilled nurses who are equipped with a holistic, faith-based approach.

Our goal is to raise $15 million to expand our nursing program by renovating our current facilities and building a brand-new space with all the latest medical training equipment.

Together, we can bring the CARE and COMPASSION of Christ to more patients! Thank you for giving your pledge or gift below today.

Care + Compassion

I have always said that students do not learn how to be nurses in nursing school. They learn how to learn to be nurses in nursing school. NNU graduates are very well prepared to enter the profession with a background that enables their experience learning to begin on day one. The quality of the graduates from the NNU program are among the best in the state.

Clint Child | DNP, MBA

President of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Nampa

I routinely hear from our nurse preceptors and nursing managers that NNU nursing graduates demonstrate superior clinical knowledge and better than average critical thinking. This is vital to the ever changing and complex healthcare landscape.

Travis Leach

COO of Hospital at Home for St. Luke’s Health System

I have loved being a part of NNU Nursing where I have the privilege of watching our nursing students transform into skilled, compassionate nurses who care for their patients in amazing ways.

Jane Weis

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF NURSING

We pride ourselves on providing the best education and learning experiences for our students. However, additional space is needed to allow for the increased number of students based on the university’s current and projected growth.

Linda Valenzuela

DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF NURSING

The College of Nursing expansion allows us to invest strategically into the future of NNU and the future of our community.

Kelli Lindley

VICE PRESIDENT FOR EXTERNAL RELATIONS

We are in a critical need for more skilled nurses all across the State of Idaho.

Rick D. Youngblood

Retired Idaho State Legislator (2012-2022)

The Need Is Now

In Idaho, there are up to five qualified nursing school candidates for every one enrollment opening. What’s more, NNU projects enrollment could more than double within 5 years but space constraints will prevent us from admitting them. Your donation can help expand our education facilities so that more Nighthawks Nurses can be educated and empowered to bring Christ’s compassion to the hurting!
