About Computer Science
NNU’s computer science degrees will prepare students for today’s technology-driven workforce. After graduation, you will be ready for careers in programming, database design, networking, web development, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics research and more.
Students pursuing a degree in Computer Science may choose to concentrate their area of study with a general computer science emphasis, a data science emphasis or cybersecurity emphasis. As cyber threats continue to increase so too does the demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals. Unfortunately, there aren’t enough skilled workers to fill those roles. Companies are in need of highly-educated individuals who can help protect their organization from the next big attack —and they are willing to pay generously for professionals who can do that. According to reports, Data Scientists with a computer programming degree can earn an average of $108,000 per year.
