About the Program

The Associate of Arts in Kinesiology is a two-year degree offered through NNU’s Department of Sport and Exercise Science. It provides students with a solid introduction to the study of physical activity and health. You’ll examine how movement impacts the body and gain knowledge that’s directly applicable to careers in fitness, coaching and health promotion. This program also includes transferable general education courses, making it a smart steppingstone toward a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, exercise science, physical education or a related field.
