Bachelor of Arts

Graduates will be prepared for and able to pursue graduate studies in religion, philosophy of religion, or a related field. Entrance requirements for specific graduate schools may be met through proper course selection. Students will be encouraged to spend at least one semester abroad or in an off-campus program.

About Philosophy & Religion

The Philosophy and Religion degree is designed to prepare students for graduate studies in religion, philosophy of religion, or a related field. Entrance requirements for specific graduate schools may be met through proper course selection. Students are encouraged to spend at least one semester abroad or in an off-campus program. Many of the philosophy and religion graduates attend seminaries, graduate schools, and doctoral programs in the related fields of philosophy, religion, and ministry.

A lot of my education has been the formation of who I am as a person…[as well as] how we can take care of ourselves, how we can take care of others and how we can live lives that are meaningful. To go into the world with meaning and purpose and work toward that I think that is what a Christian education is about.
