About Youth Ministry

NNU recognizes that God calls men and women to a wide variety of ministries. Today, NNU students are fortunate to be able to customize their response to a divine call by specializing in a variety of ministry areas. The youth ministry major prepares students for a variety of youth ministry settings, including both local church and parachurch contexts. For those students from the Church of the Nazarene, educational requirements for ordination as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene also require the Christian Ministry minor along with this major. Other denominations’ requirements may be met through the selection of elective courses.
