Biography: Bryon Knight has served NNU as the Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations since 2008. As an alum from the class of 1997, he has a deep belief in the relevance and the necessity of Christian higher education. NNU was a transformative place that changed the trajectory of his life both personally and professionally. Earning a degree, meeting his wife (Karen) of 25 years and four beautiful kids later, it was an easy decision to return and give back to his alma mater! After earning a BA in Business Administration (Management), Bryon spent more than 10 years in the business sector working for a fortune 500 company and then a local start-up that is highly successful today. Since returning to NNU, he completed a Developing Major Gifts certificate from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Robinson Leadership Fellowship, NNU’s LEAP Leadership program and some classes in NNU’s MBA program. His current role at NNU is uniquely rewarding as he has the opportunity to impact the University in a number of ways. From capital-building projects to academic program expansions and sponsorships to student scholarships, it is his deep desire to help NNU become an even better place. But more importantly, for NNU to be attainable for ALL students!
Favorite Thing About Working at NNU: Being a small part of something so much bigger than myself, but also experiencing external affirmations of the transformative education students receive at NNU.
