What is your favorite thing about working at NNU? I love working with and for the students! In the College of Business, part of that collaboration requires students to participate in an internship. One of my greatest joys is watching students light up as they connect the concepts learned in the classroom with the real life work in the internship.

Share a few facts about your specific area(s) of expertise that you bring to the classroom: I worked as a corporate accountant before transitioning to higher education. I also continue to work as a consultant, specifically in forensic accounting. I a able to bridge the gap between textbook learning and real world application.
I am also a CPA and CMA – both key credentials in the accounting field. I can help students understand what portion of the classroom teachings will also be on these professional exams. I also help students learn how to study for these exams with tips and tricks.
