NAME: Jim Butkus

PROFESSION: CRM System Manager

HOMETOWN: Centralia, WA

FUN FACT ABOUT YOU: I enjoy watching Hallmark movies.

FAVORITE NNU MEMORY SO FAR: There are too many to choose from!

FAVORITE THING ABOUT NNU: How God has worked through the NNU community in so many ways in the lives of so many people for so many years.

SOMETHING VALUABLE YOU LEARNED AT NNU: The great and far-reaching impact for the Kingdom that one can have in the lives of others.

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT FROM YOUR TIME AT NNU: Helping prospective students come to NNU and then seeing them experience growth and transformation as NNU students.

FAVORITE QUOTE: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He leads me on paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For you are with me. Your rod and your staff comfort me. You prepare a table in the presence of my enemies, you anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”—Psalm 23

HOW DOES NNU HELP CREATE HABITS OF HEART, SOUL, MIND AND STRENGTH? It’s not just the programmatic things we do that help instill those habits. It’s all the different and practical ways that the people of NNU embody and reflect the Kingdom that truly bring those habits to life and provide the visible and memorable models for others to aspire to.
