NNU’s Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations prepares students for public relations work in businesses, organizations, and political arenas. The program focuses on application and community building by working with local small businesses and non-profits to provide strategic and event planning.

- Pursue a career in public relations and communication work for, among other industries, business or political campaigns.
- Work closely with faculty mentors in small classes.
- Understand the processes and roles of persuasion and rhetoric in public.
About Public Relations
NNU’s Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations prepares students for public relations work in businesses, organizations, and political arenas. The program focuses on application and community building by working with local small businesses and non-profits to provide strategic and event planning. With an emphasis in speaking and writing, students gain the skills employers seek in the current job market.
Emphasis is placed on building relationships between organizations and their audiences through media, media relations, critical thinking, writing and speaking, understanding of the processes and roles of persuasion and rhetoric and of the critical nature of research. Students encounter both the theory and practice of public relations through rigorous classroom and group work, case studies and internships.
