transfer students

curious if your credits will transfer?

If you have taken any college courses after graduating from high school, NNU accepts transfer credits from almost all other regionally accredited colleges and universities.  To find out more, keep reading!

Better yet, work on your NNU application for admission to get the process started.

As an experienced college student, you might be all too familiar with the confusion of transfer credits as you consider applying for admission and financial aid at a different university.

We want to make this process as simple and easy as possible for you.  We have an admission counselor who works specifically with transfer students. We also have knowledgeable and helpful personnel in our Financial Aid and Registrar’s Office available to help you.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

NNU has many types of financial aid available for qualifying, full-time transfer students including federal loans and grants, University grants and scholarships. Transfer students may qualify for both need and merit-based aid.

The Merit Scholarship is awarded to transfer students who display excellence in their academic achievement. It’s based on your cumulative GPA from all colleges and/or universities attended and must be applied to tuition costs.

Cumulative GPA Scholarship Amount
3.5+ $18,000
2.5 – 3.49 $16,000
2.49 and below $9,000

Note: You may have additional financial aid options if you’ve been attending college for a year or less. Speak with your admissions counselor to see if you qualify.
